I have not used dbpowerAMP for several weeks. Now when I play my music collection the player will play one song then stop. I have random play selected and all the songs are part of my library, I do not have selective play on, although I do have it set to play everything. It used to just keep on playing different songs untill I stopped it, I cannot find any settings that would change this. Any suggestions? Thanx Keith Baran

I have had this happen a few times. At times, experimenting with turning off random play and selective play, de-selecting and re-selecting all the genres of My Music Collection and then reactivating random and selective play have helped but it was never clear just what step or series of steps did the trick.

I would recommend you try re-setting your dAP using the routine here:

Also, are you by chance using version 10.1 (or earlier) version of Music Converter with the beta r3 of the Audio Player? Or might you be trying the beta version of Music Converter with release2 of the Audio Player?
I did run into a problem which may have been similar which I thought might have been related to the different mp3 decoders (MAD for the betas, Lame for the current versions), especially since the issue was confined to mp3 tracks. If this is the case, you may want to assure you have compatible versions of Music Converter and Audio Player.

If that does not help, please let us know.

Now that you mention this version thing, this all started after I downloaded and installed music converter beta ver 11.Any suggestions , I need the new option in beta ver 11 , the ID type change, but I want my player back??? What a drag... Thanx for your input

I just realized something, the player plays to the end of a song, but never seems to complete the file, the position marker just hangs at the end of the track. If I use the mouse and push it to the end it will move on to the song, if I do not push it it will just sit at the end of the song???

With the beta r 11 of dMC, use the beta 3 version of dAP.
Anything not fixed by that run the dAP reset mentionned in my first reply.
If those do not work, please let us know but also specify what you tried and what the results were.

Thanx for these quick responses, just got through with uninstalling amp and converter, reinstalled the amp r3 beta 6 and converter r11 rc1 and evetything is coool!! : :komisch7:
