    nothing will play coverted files

    After converting m4p files first to wav and then to mp3 (xp shuts the converter down if i dont go to wav first) I cannot any player to play the file?

    Whats up?

    dBpowerAMP cannot convert m4p files, you need hymm to create a .mp4 file.

      Yes...I did that first and left it out of my message...the stps I took were to (1) use hymm to convert to m4a; (2) used dbpower to covert the m4a to wav (dbpower wont convert to mp3 directly and shuts down for some reason); then convert the wav to mp3.

      Neither the wav or the mp3 will open in several players i tried.

          No the windows media player will not play the m4a it says the file is either corrupt or in an unsupported format

            I didn't think WMP supported m4a. Have you tried Quicktime or Itunes. I think they support m4a.

              m4a is an Apple Quicktime format.
