Where is the Audio CD input

This was a reply from "Spoon" to a post that I found when doing a search for converting from .CDA file:
"Anyway, from Audio CD Input - select the menu next to Rip and click 'Rip with Options (right click)"
When I do a test conversion there is no problem.
When I try to convert to Mp3 or Wave I get: "The output file 'E: rack01.Mp3/.Wav could not be opened.
Where is the Audio CD input he is speaking of?

    Thanks,
    Jack

Re: Where is the Audio CD input

dBpowerAMP Music Converter (dMC) has several interfaces. dMC Audio CD Input is the primary interface for use when ripping tracks from cd. If you use the standard installation, Audio CD input has its own icon on the desktop. You can also access it through Start>All Programs>dBpowerAMP Music Converter>dMC Audio CD Input.

This particular interface is dedicated only to ripping from CD. There are other strategies for ripping from cd as well but this interface offers the most access to such options as auto-accessing track and album information from the Freedb database and to other options you will sometimes see referred to from time to time.

    Best wishes,
    Bill Mikkelsen

Check your dMC install for a "CDGrab.exe". It's installed with dbPowerAmp Music Converter.
