    Working offline

I would like to translate my Cds into MP3 using dMC, and getting the titles from the freedb Database.
    But doing this offline !
Is it possible to download the freedb database, and then configurate dMC to work with this local copy ?
    (I'm a WinMe user)

I believe you can do this but it is a very large file to have lying around.
More efficient might be to open up Audio CD Input, link up to the internet, and feed your cd's into youor designated drive to get them read (but don't rip them at this point). The Freedb information will be saved and you can then rip your cd's offline at your leisure.

Thanks for this quick answer. That's my first time here...

In fact the PC I dedicate to the translations will not be the same, than the one with internet access. That's the point.

And I do'nt imagine to come to work with my complete set of CDs...

OK. To find directions for this go Start>All Programs>dBpowerAMP Music Converter>Help>dBpowerAMP Music Converter Help. Click on the item for Freedb Options. There you will find the information you seek.

Given that the freedb database is over 1 GB in size uncompressed, you will need to see if you can compress it (or save it as a dvd data disc of both computers support that) so that you can get the database to your other computer.
