    Convert wav to m4a...?

I've been trying to convert wav to m4a using the quicktime codec. Everytime I start a conversion, it starts, runs up to a certain point then brings up the quick time application then hangs. I then cancel the process and I get a message saying there was a codec error. I did read somewhere on the site that QT has to be registered but I'm not sure that's causing the problem. QT was installed when I installed iTunes for an iPOD.

    Can anyone help here?
    Thanks,
    John

Yes, QuickTime is supposed to be registered for the codec to work.
There are several other things about this codec regarding its setup and operation you should take into account. Please refer to the help file for this codec (Start>All Programs>dBpowerAMP Muusic Converter>Help>Codecs>QuickTime M4a Codec Help)
    for specifics.
