    Memory error!

Whenever I try to convert my m4a files to mp3 (or to any other format for that matter), I get this memory error:

I didnt get this error before. Could this be because the two files I am trying to convert are 16MB, and 37MB big respectively?

    Re: Memory error!

dBpowerAMP Music Converter should be able to handle much larger files. The other week I did some conversions with a 73.5mb mp3 and an 880mb wav file.

One test you can do is to test convert your 2 files. Select one of them and go to convert it it but when the dMC window comes up, where you would select file format (eg, mp3), select "Test Conversion."

If the test conversion does not work, you might want to check to make sure you can do other conversions (mp3 to wav, for example). If you cannot do other conversions, try uninstalling dMC and all your codecs and reinstall them. If you can do other conversions, try uninstalling and reinstalling your AAC/MP4 decoder codec. If test conversion then will still not work, I suspect there may be something going on with your m4a files.

If a first test conversion does work, try converting one of your m4a files to wav and then to mp3.

Let us know what you find.
    Good luck and best wishes,
    Bill Mikkelsen

The crash is at the beginning, m thinks there is a problem with the m4a file, what created it?

The Hymn program created them. Also, the test conversions didnt work. I'm gonna try to uninstall/reinstall the software, and try again

Try playing the file in something else (itunes), I don't think it is a valid file.
