    File does not play

    Hi to everyone well i have this weird problem i've converted an mp3 file to 24bit 48000 and the resolted file doesn't play.Ive done the same thing with an audio cd file ..... the same :vmad:
    I've tried different formats(high resolution)...........The same
    I Have An audigy 2 that supports high resolution audio
    Any sugestions?

    Your new files are 24 bit, 48 khz in what format?
    What player(s) are you using/have you tried?

      the format is wave
      The player is windows media 10

        Audio CDs are 44Khz 16 bit stereo. Only DVD audio is higher freq / bitrate.

          OK, so you've converted mp3 to 24-bit,48KHz wav. You've also converted cd audio track to 24-bit, 48KHz wav. None play.

          What do you mean exactly when you say the file doesn't play? Do you mean Windows Media Player (or some other player) starts but you hear nothing? Or do you mean it gives an error of sorts?

          If there's no error message, right click and open Volume controls (bullhorn in the task bar) and make sure Microphone is muted and nothing else is muted.
