    The music converter crashes everytime I try to convert
    a .wma file
    I keep getting this message: MusicConverter
    .exe has encountered a problem and needs to
    close. We are sorry for the inconvenience.

    I am using XP.

    Please can someone help me ?

    Hold the mouse over your wma file - on the popup info does it say Is_Protected: Yes?

      NOPE...unfortunately it doesn't otherwise it would make sense to me although i must say, i haven't thought about it earlier so there must be an other reason.

        However : During the instalation of the WMA codec / wmav8.exe
        i get the message :

        WINDOWS MEDIA FORMAT 7.1 AUDIO FILE SETUP

        Coomand line syntax error. Type /? for help.

            Ok ... i willl (although i have the special XP version ) but first i have a plane to catch for my 10 days holiday, but beleive me i will try as soon as i get back, and will keep you posted.

              Hi

              i also have the same problem but with MP3's, i cannot convert any of my MP3's at all, prog just crashes, any help is appreciated

                Unregistered: If you are using XP then I don't think Media Player 7.1 will help :(

                Kelis: What are you converting to? have you tried converting to wave?
