    I am having troulble converting real media to mp3, when i right click on the file it does not give me the option to convert!
    I have downloaded codecs and still no joy, mabe i have downloaded the wrong codec?

    Can anyone assist me pls :-) debailey25@yahoo.co.uk

    You need to have the codecs and a version of Real Player as specified in the download page at Codec Central.
    Assuming you have these installed and installed in the correct folders then dMC (dBpowerAMP Music Converter) should be able to convert them.
    If you open up dMC and browse to one of your RealAudio files, does dMC recognize it and allow you to convert it?
    If dMC doesn't recognize it, my guess would be either that you have installed your RealAudio codecs to the wrong location or that your files aren't being recognized as being audio files. If this is the case it would be helpful to know the file extension and whether these are audio or video files. It is possible to convert files with the .rmj or .rij extensions by changing the extension to .ra or .rm.
    You can confirm whether your RealAudio codecs are installed correctly by going to dMC Configuration (Start>All Programs>dBpowerAMP Music Converter>Configuration>dMC Configuration) to see if both codecs (the decopression or read codec and the compression or write codec).
    Let us know what you find checking out these alternatives.
