    MP3 converting

    Hi guys

    when I try 2 convert mp3. some errors appear as follows,
    "The CODEC required to compress 'd:\Documents and Settings\lasanthr\Desktop\HouseCleaning\MADAWA04.m p3' could not be opened."and these are the setting " Bit rate - 64kbps, Chanels: Mono, Frequancy: 16000Hz"plz, let me how can I solve this problem

    My first suggestion would be to make sure that Professional Frequency Conversion is enabled. You set this at dMC Configuration (Start>All Programs>dBpowerAMP Music Converter>Configuration>dMC Configuration). This is turned off by default but is often critically helpful if you are converting to a different frequency than the original source file.

    Second, make sure you do not have the option to delete source file(s) after conversion, especially if you are only converting single files.

    If these tips do not help you, please let us know what bitrate, channel settings, and frequency your source file(s) is/are set to.
