    mp3 ripping?

I downloaded the beta version and got a message that my powerpac had expired and I can no longer encode to mp3. I never had the powerpac and I'm confused by this.

I've looked through the site and it says that mp3 is incliuded in the freeware converter. Is this changed in the beta version?

    Re: mp3 ripping?

Spoon has been informed that he must now pay a licence fee if dMC is to continue its support for MP3. This will need to be passed on to us the users therefore the next release of dMC, the beta version you have downloaded and installed, comes with the powerpack (it is no longer a separate item).

Registering the powerpack will enable you to continue to create MP3 files, as well as use some of the other helpful features (e.g. editting tags, rip to ram, etc.).

The alternative is to keep using an older version of dMC however you may find that you lose out on any extra features implemented in later version.

see if this helps to re set it http://www.dbpoweramp.com/bin/ReactivatePP.exe

and yes Spoon as to pay a fee for using mp3 , so now you can only encode to mp3 by purchasing the powerpack. Spoon should be putting the new price out soon for the powerpack. read this thread: http://forum.dbpoweramp.com/showthread.php?t=5399
