I've heard that dbPowerAmp Music Converter contains spyware.
Is this true? I know that the website says that it doesn't but other people that have installed it says that there is. What's the deal?

i'm not awar of any spyware in any of dbpoweramps products. if so where is it? ask whoever is telling you this to tell you what it is doing? download a free utility to check http://www.lavasoftusa.com/support/download/

The internet encompasses millions of people, not all of them are smart. I can guarantee there is no spyware (infact the first page of dMC R11 will state there is no 'spyware / mallware or viruses'.

Thanks for verifying this. I'm a staunch supporter of dbPowerAmp and I recommend it to anyone that asks. When you get a situation like this, I always prefer to get the info straight from the horse's mouth, so to speak. I never believed the dbPowerAmp contained any sort of spyware, adware, etc., so it's nice to have something to back it up.
