Any way to check rmvb ripping status?

i have been trying to rip the audio from my rmvb file 140 mins long.
i know the progress bar would be stucked at 0% but it already take 2.5 hours.
is there any way to find out how long more it will take, like knowing where the temp file is located(i dun hav powerpack) or the rate of conversion?

my com is P2.2GHz 512+256 mb ram, win xp, dmc set to high pirority)

With the power pack you can set the Temp file path and view the temp file for any DSP effects you are using, but this Temp file will not show any information if DSP effects are not being used in the conversion.
Otherwise, I don't know where any other temp file is located.
I do want to suggest that you may have a better result if you lower your conversion priority (come to think of it, I thought that this was only possible with the Power Pack). But conversion priority of Normal or Below Normal may work better for you.
    Best wishes,

It shouldn't take longer than the original, so I think it is not working, try a small .rm file first.
