dMC Audio CD Input: ripping a compilation.

    I couldn't have that working.

I have one CD with songs from many artists.

I usually ripped that kind of CDs with CDex in this Format:
    Various artists - Compilation\Track# - Artist - Track

I mean, I could create automatically a folder called:
    Various artists - Compilation

    And inside the files:
    01 - Artist1 - Track1
    02 - Artist2 - Track2
    ... and so on

This simply using " / " to separate track artist from track title.

In dMC I get this: folder called
    Various artists - Compilation

    And inside:
    01 - Vaious artists - Artist1 / Track1
    02 - Vaious artists - Artist2 / Track2

Also the tags are wrong (I get Various Artists in the artist field instead of the artist of the single track)!

Am I doing something wrong or dMC does not recognize " / " as a separator, as CDDB does?

    Thanks for attention.

The CD Audio Input program does have a feature to handle compilation CD but I think that you need the powerpack installed before you can use it.

Upon installing the powerpack a compilation button comes available which when clicked separates out the artist name and track title from the combined information retrieved from freedb.

The individual music files will contain the proper tag information however the folder/file structure created depends on your dMC settings.
