Just wondered if there are any plans for visual effects like Windows Media player.. I see the option but there is never anything listed there.

I haven't bothered to get any myself, but might this be available when you use different skins for DAP?

no, visual effects isn't implemented yet. i think spoon was going to make it dirX compatible from memory so 3rd party plugins would work with it.
