PP doesn't boost speed

Hi

Can't see any advantage in using Powerpack. Converting CD to ogg @ 128kbps. The time was only 2% faster despite ripping to RAM (with no other applications hogging RAM space).

What am I missing ?

Well Power Pack has many nice features. The few that may effect conversion speed are: Ripping to Ram, ripping & encoding at the same time, and setting the priority for your conversion (which typically you will want to have at Normal or Below Normal).
Apart from that there are many variables that effect conversion times and Power Pack's DSP effects may increase conversion time somewhat. Some formats convert faster than others. You may want to assure that Professional Frequency Conversion is turned off (in dMC Configuration) as this will slow down your conversions.
