Mp3s with gaps at the end!

I just got an mp3 player so I'm ripping all my CD collection into monkeys audio fiormat onto the computer with EAC. I''m pretty sure all the offsets are correct in EAC as when I play files from a CD that doesnt have gaps in the tracks, the ones that have an entire score or soundtrack as a few tracks rather than just the 1 theres no gaps in the tracks when it changes but when I converted the tracks with DMC and played them, theres gaps. This also happens with WMA files. I'm wondering if there is a way to stop the gaps at the end of the tracks so they can play seamlessly.

I hope you can understand what I'm saying. :o

    Any help would be appreciated.

Most mp3 players are not gapless on their playback, I know of only 1 (the Rio Karma).

I kind of knew that already but I'm mainly talking about being gapless when played on the computer because when played using the original monkeys audio format there are no gaps but there is when I convert the monkeys files to mp3s, is it because mp3s are handled different in mp3 playing software? I have tried it in both winamp and dbpoweramp music player.

Supposidly (although someone said WMA v10 is not).

Well I guess it doesnt matter, its just slightly annoying when you have lots of scores and musical CDs that span over a number of tracks. I guess I could combine all the tracks into one file but that would mess the CD track numbers up and would probably be too long and a bit annoying so I'll have to settle for gaps for the moment.

              Is ogg gapless?
