    AUX version?

I've looked at the config (all of them) and dont see the AuxConverter
listed. Is it the same version of the dbconverter?

    thanks,

    Re: AUX version?

It's true, that information dosen't seem to appear anywhere.

When you download it, the link says version 3, but that's the last reference to the the version we see.

I think you can look in the help file for that and see the version changes - and then you know what version you have. But the catch is that clicking on the version changes does not bring up the file, you have to copy and paste the name in the address bar, a little hyperlinking bug. :p

        Re: AUX version?

For R11 these items have been merged with dMC and they now use dMCs version number, ie AuxInput is now R11 same as dMC.

            Re: AUX version?

Not as of the r11 beta 5. People downloading the r10.1 still need to download Aux. Input, as would people with earlier versions of the r11 beta.
The r 11 beta also has File Selector built-in and includes Power Pack with some features time-limited (see: http://forum.dbpoweramp.com/showthread.php?t=2261).

At this point savagcl would know that if he downloaded Auxilary input from the regular download site he has version 3, if he downloaded from the Beta site he has version 4 and if he has r11 beta5 or 5a he has it built-in.

            Best wishes,

                  Re: AUX version?

Perhaps I am not the only one with memory problems after all!!!!

Anyway, the Auxilary Input version number for dMC upto r11 beta 5 (or thereabouts) will be listed (along with version number) in dMC Configuration near the end of the section labelled "? Version Information".
For the current r11 beta (5a), either the version will be the same as the dMC version number (as Spoon seems to be saying), or it won't be listed at all (I'm not sure which-I really don't care for switching with each new beta that comes out although I suppose I'll need to soon just to keep up with the substantial changes in the dMC package).
If you have one of the earlier versions of dMC which should show the version number in dMC Configuration, if the version number does not show, it may mean that dMC has not been installed (remember that until recently it was a separate download) or it somehow got installed in the wrong place.
                  Hope this clarifies things.
                  (Hope my memory comes back!)
