    aspi driver help

    the dmc music ripper wont rip music under aspi and i have to set it to the windows 2000/nt built in io. Ive tried reinstalling the aspi drivers and it doesnt seem to work. I also think this is why adobe audition keeps crashing when i try to start it up. Someone plz help

    At the risk of asking a dumb question, let me ask:
    assuming you have set your dMC Audio CD Input Configuration to Windows 2000/NT Built-In (Limited), why are you worried about the ASPI drivers? (I thought that usually this readjustment was the fix for the ASPI drivers problem.)

      well i just wanted the aspi to work because i have a feeling it has something to do with cooledit and adobe audition both crashing when yo utry to start it up.

        No need to use ASPI under XP/2000, the Direct IO option is the best.
