I can't get the converter to work. It just won't. It stops working it just counts and counts then says eventually that the conversion didn't work. I reinstall everything and then it works like twice then i have to reinstall it. I am converting mp3 to ram. Also what would make the file size the smallest? like the targeted user and single rate or sure stream or voice and sound. What should i use? and how do i get the converter to work more than twice?

Can you convert your mp3 to wav? Can you then convert from wav to ram?I am converting mp3 to ram
Have you tried decreasing the priority on your conversion (this is adjusted from the screeen that shows the conversion after it has started)?
The idea behind both of these tips is to try to prevent your system from getting stuck trying to do too much too quickly, which can be a problem no matter how studly a system you have. You could also generate problems by trying to compress too much.
I would urge you to try these tips and, if they don't work, please post back with the complete error message and the compression settings you are trying to use. I will leave it to someone more familiar with RealAudio to address your questions about how to achieve maximum compression in RealAudiio.
