    Unable to install WMA-codec properly.

When I install the WMA codec (which can be found in the Codec Central), after I installed the required System Codecs, I always get this error popup:

    Error whilst running 'C:\Program Files\Illustrate\dBpowerAMP\MusicConverter.exe'
I tried all previous codecs but I always get this message while installing.

Suffice to say, the codec doesn't work because it doesn't install properly.

Could anyone help me out? I'm running the usual XP Home Edition.

Try to uninstall both dMC and the codecs from Control panel and then redownload all and install fresh copies, all to the same folder.

You are aware that for wma you need Windows Media Player 9? Mind you, that shoould already be in XP, but maybe it's not up to date.

Don't forget the 3 steps given at Codec Central for wma: http://www.dbpoweramp.com/codec-central-wma.htm

      Ok, it worked

Apparently I installed dBpowerAMP in a different directory. Silly me.

      Thanks!
