    "Studio quality" encoding bugs

    Re: dMC release 10

    Hi Spoon,

I'm not sure what type of .mp3s the "studio quality" setting is intended to create, but there seem to be some problems with that setting:

    - the .mp3s play as if they are VBR files, but at odd bitrates like 257, 258, and 256k only

    - Winamp reports the file info variously as 256 and 320k CBR, while the dMC explorer popup indicates VBR

    - almost all .mp3s created have missing frame headers, sometimes dozens or more

I'm very happy with dBpowerAMP and prefer the Alt Preset :smile2: settings myself, but would NOT recommend the studio quality :( setting!
Thanks for any help you can offer.

I think this was fixed in R11.
