    Razor Lame and Lame...

I was wandering what was the difference between Razor Lame and Lame?
I just surf on their website (http://www.dors.de/razorlame/index.php) and it seems that it's superior than Lame. If yes, would it be possible to install the codec in dbpowerAMP Music Encoder?

Thanks for your answer; (It is too technical for me to understand.)

Razor Lame is a GUI-front end to LAME. It uses LAME to encode, all Razor Lame does is make it easier for you to configure LAME.

LAME is the default mp3 encoder in dMC 10.1 already, don't know which version it uses, nor which is the newest version of LAME.

I think dMC currently uses version Lame 3.92 but it is possible to replace it with the latest version manually. The most recent version of Lame that I know about is 3.96.

This posting has reminded me that since installing the latest beta of dMC, last weekend, the version of lame on my machine may have reverted back to version 3.92.
