I can't do anything, because when I lunch the program the computer freeze.
It doesn't let me do anything (use, Remove, re-install music converter).
The computer works prefect except music converter.

Can you uninstall from Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs?

I think there is something wrong with your computer, the uninstall program is totally different to dMC, everything shouldn't freeze.

I think that it's some file that it is corrupted.
Everything in my computer is working fine this is the only program given me a problem.
You tall me to Install the R11 where can I find this.

                Thanks Ricky

Beta section of this forum. Install it without uninstalling the older version.

                    Re: Music converter stop working

Whenever I try to use music converter, it freezes within about 12 seconds half of the time. The other half it goes through without a problem. I usually have to restart, and my computer says that I'm missing a .dll file and it'll replace it, but i have to restart again, and then when I get it all up and running again, the chance that it'll freeze again is still a half.

                    Anyone know what's wrong?

                      ComfortablyNumb-
Perhaps this (from the Support section of this site, here:
                      http://www.dbpoweramp.com/dmc-support.htm) addresses your problem:
                      Q. When Trying to Run dMC a Message Show saying 'MSVCP60.DLL' cannot be found?
                      A. Run this MSVCP60 install (263KB) which will add said file to your computer.
If this is not the missing .dll in question you could try uninstalling and reinstalling dBpowerAMP Music Converter. If that does not work or you would like more specific informatiom, please tell us about what Windows version you are using, what version of dMC (dBpowerAMP Music Converter) you are using, and what types of settings you are using for your conversions.
                      Best wishes,
                      Bill Mikkelsen

                        Re: Music converter stop working

                        ok:

I'm using Windows 98SE, i have 448 mhz, about 5 free gigs on my C drive, and about 4 free gigs on the (portable) drive where i save the music. I have dmc v10 (i think...) and I rip from cd's to 320kbps mp3's.

if i need a new prosessor (yeah...i understand things, especially program's minimal needs change after six years...) then I'll probably get one because I've been thinking about it for a while.

i don't think that's the missing .dll file though. but thanks for the help.

Have you installed the Windows 95/98 System Update files? These are needed for Windows 98SE also. They are available from here: http://www.dbpoweramp.com/dmc.htm
