    problem with decompressing

    dear sir,
I am a new user. Trying to record from a tape player with the Auxiliary Input. I get the massage: "the CODEC required to decompress '\Aux\Track01.aux' could not be found", and the recording process does not start. In the configuration of the installed program I see that all the decoders of MP3 and Wave were installed.
    I would appreciate your help.

Try reinstalling Aux Input (to the same location as dMC).

Also check your input source in Volume Control - for your particular soundcard.

You should see the box for Auxiliary input (or some similar item - maybe line-in) checked and the others like CD or microphone not.
