What codec do i need because everytime i try to convert it to mp3 it says that it doesnt have the file.

You need to download and install Real Player or Real One from www.realnetworks.com (get the free version), as well as the Real Media codecs from Codec Central. dMC already has the mp3 codec (or it did until the recent developments concerning the mp3 patent problem).

Unfortunately Real Player is required for this.

Also note that the conversion is done in real time - so a 3 minute song will be converted in just a little over 3 minutes (allow a few seconds for the final processing).
