I haven't had any difficulty with mp4>mp3 conversion. What settings (bitrates, frequencies, channels) are you using for your mp4 and (anticipated) mp3 files?
If you are working with frequencies other than the standard 44100 khz I would recommend that you activate Professional Frequency Conversion if you have not already done so. Or you might try converting to a different frequency. If you are trying to convert to a very small mp3 bitrate you might try converting to a more normal bitrate.
If these ideas do not help (or if you have already tried them, please let us know, sending along the information about the settings for the file you are trying to convert and the settings you are trying to convert to.
Good luck and best wishes,

The file I am trying to convert was bought from iTunes 2 days ago as an .m4p and converted to .mp4 with Music Converter, (although the .mp4 file doesn't seem to play either?). But regardless of what bitrate or frequency I select to convert to it converts in 0-1 seconds and ends up as a 1 or 2kb .mp3 file.
Hi,
I posted 2 ads on this forum on how to convert the M4Ps to MP3. I didn't say how because I waited until I finish my person webpage. Now it's available. You can find out how to do that here:

Enjoy your music and God bless you all and Bless America!!!
Take care.
How do I burn m4p files to standard CD (cda) audio format?
Or how do I convert m4p to anything else, like mp3 or m4a?
I can take it from an mp3 or m4a and make an audio CD but I do not have the tool to make an audio CD from m4p. I will continue to search the Internet.
Thanks.
