RAM conversion

Hi

I'm sure this has been covered before but I can't make any sense out of the answers. So sorry about this if it's old hat...

I don't seem to be able to convert a .ram file - dbPoweramp goes away for the length of time of the audio but pops back with a 1kB .wav file.

Any help gratefully received
