You can find out what this file about at http://www.liutilities.com/products/...ary/winaspi32/

You can get a new copy of this file at http://www.dll-files.com/dllindex/dl...html?winaspi32

However it would be best to find out first why you're missing this file.

I found some references in Google of a similar problem under Windows ME after uninstalling and reinstalling Nero, in conjunction with a Samsung burner at http://www.alegsa.com.ar/Visitas/Sam...20problems.php

Or install the ASPI layer (support >> audio cd input).

Thanks to both Spoon and Christina. I will look at the websites that you suggested Christina. By the way, I am running winXP Home Edition and have a combo IDE4816co dvd/cd. I don't know if that will make a difference or not.

          Thanks again,
          Margie
