Ripping Problem !

hi spoon...
well am a new ripper on da block.....and just tried ur software 2 rip my cd's..its awesome..newyz back to question..
Q: I make my audio cd's image through nero burning rom by recordin it frm image recorder..and i load dat image in image drive to make a virtual audio cd....now, wen rippin frm (dmc) i choose my virtual drive option to choose the audio cd source...and den rip the cd's in mp3 and mpc formats.....
well i do it coz it prevents my cd's to get used again & again as i rip into 2 or 3 formats at a time....now my main question is dat..will it affect the quality or sound if i make da image and den rip...or do i do direct rips ? wt do u recommend ?

You are best ripping once from the original CD to a lossless format (such as monkeys) then you can convert monkeys very fast (without quality loss) to any other format.
