Errr... your sound card? Master Volume control is muted? Volume for wav is muted?Originally posted by brbpab94ok I converted a mp3 to a wav 5.1 and when I went to play it there was no sound.I used real player and windows medea player. What could be wrong?
But isn't wav 5.1 for DVD's? at 96000 Hz and 24-bit? Normal stereo wav is 44.1 KHz 16-bit so this may have something to do with it.Last edited by ChristinaS; July 13, 2004, 11:51 AM.Christina

Your mp3 file was probabbly only 2 channel, that will be the problem.Comment

Re: No sound
I doubt that you will, most poeple have no desire to do so. Mostly becuase you are converting from a compressed file to an uncompressed file. This will make the end result sound extremely horrible."It's better to have it and not need it than to need it and not have it!" - John Wayne
