    Can't play APE files

I installed the latest dBpowerAMP player. When I tried to install the APE codec I received the following error:

    Error whilst running C:\Program Files\Illustrate\dBpowerAMP\MusicConverter.exe

So I installed the Music Converter plugin. This seemed to fix the install problem, but I still can't play any APE files. When I attempt to play them, the tag info is displayed correctly, but if I push the PLAY button, nothing happens
Thanks for any help. I'm running WinXP w/sp1.

    Re: Can't play APE files

Navigate Start>All Programs>dBpowerAMP>Configuration>File Associations. From the menu, click on the box for ape Files so that the computer knows you want dAP to recognize and play these types of files.

If this does not take care of your problem, please post back.
    Best wishes,
