    dbpowerAMP vs Lame.exe

    Hi guys!

I've compered encoding rate Lame.exe and dbpowerAMP and now i've wondering

    Lame.exe works 0.5x realtime rate
    but dbpowerAMP at 3x realtime

Would U explain, if dbpowerAMP DO use (in fact ðåó same) Lame codec why the difference is SO huge ?!

Different versions of lame? perhaps if using lame.exe with dmc a temp wave file has to be written first (don't remember).

      Different version ?
To be more exact, with DB i'm using DB's Lamn plug-in (i don't know what version ùà Lame it uses), Lame.exe 3.93
And i'm comressing the same WAV into MP3 (CBR 320), so DB and Lame.exe do exactly identical task...

You can install the lame.exe plugin for dMC and use that if required.
