ripping CDs to lame MP3 w/ song names

I'm new to this site that I was recommended to and I've been trying to archive my albums to either wma or mp3. The problem I'm having is getting the song names to show up once I rip it to my hd. In Windows Media you can rip to WMA's and retain song titles and artist and even album cover. In your rip program I am only getting track01,track02 etc w/o any info. Is there any plug-in or options I can set to retain all the info??? Any help would be appreciated.

When you insert the CD into your drive and you have the rip cd program open, it should retrieve the details for you from FreeDB.org, unless the CD is not on file there. Make sure you have an internet connection.
