asx to mp3

i cannnt convert 'asx.' files to mp3 or even . whne i clikc on the icon to convert files it always refers me back to this website and as far as i can tell i downloaded all relevant tools .and also since i ahve downloaded the windows 9 runner time my windows media player wont let me open playlists.
