    mp4 codec

Hi, I downloaded the mp4 codec to read/play. I wnat to *convert* to wav or wma. Is it possible? When I right click, there is no "convert" button.

Thanks for the help. As you can tell, I'm new to this. I appreciate the help.

I don't see where File Association is under Configuration. However, there is a list of codecs installed, and MP4 Decoder is on that list.

Where would I find File Association?

      Thank you!

thats because you looked under "dbpoweramp music converter" configuration and not "dbpoweramp" configuration. easy to mix up.

There is only one thing for dbpoweramp on my Start Programs Menu.
          Configuration
          DMC configuration

          That's all. Sorry!!!!

ok forget the file association then as that means you dont have the player installed then.

i'm not sure whats going on then. accept re install dmc and the codec to see if it rectifies the problem.

              Jax-
Can you convert to mp4 if you do it from opening dMC first?
Another user has had a similar problem with not getting the Convert To option when right-clicking on a file (not with mp4 files I don't recall) and I'm not sure if her problem got resolved or not but she was able to convert using dMC by opening up dMC first.
So you problem may be that you can't convert by right-clicking on the audio file rather than not being able to convert.
If you right-click on other file formats do you get the Convert To Option?

              Best wishes,
