i've got a few mix cd's that i want to convert as a whole mp3 file instead of converting each individual song. how do i do this? thanks

If you have the Power Pack it contains an option to do this.
Load your cd in your drive, open dMC Audio CD Input. Get your Freedb data. Set the format (in this case mp3) and bitrate you want to rip to. Click on "Rip As One". There will be a narrow column on your left. It should be red from top to bottom. Along the side will be track markers. Assuming you want to rip the whole cd as a single cut, you need do nothing more except to click on the rip button.
If you don't have the power pack installed, you can't do it.
The one downside to Rip as One is that you cannot easily separate the tracks back to individual tracks.
