Audio CD Input not finding CD drives
I'm logged into Win XP as an administrator, and everything was fine. However, when I turned on the option for reading CD-TEXT, all of my drives disappeared from the drop-down menu under Options, except for my virtual drive. I unchecked the option and the drives are still missing. Any ideas?

Problem solved - Changed setting Communications setting under Advanced to NT/2000 Built-in (Limited). -

its a common problem but still mystifies me a little why it does that. when i first started using XP everything worked fine on the aspi setting until one day it stopped working. then it worked on NT/device IO , then that stopped working one day so now it only works on NT/2000 Built-in (Limited).
but i never figured out why it changes all of a sudden?Comment
