I can't delete some lines from id tag. Is there a way to delete things you dont need?

    Re: tag

Off-hand, I don't know. I believe that tags are doomed to follow a specific format but whether any or all of the tag can be deleted or not I can't say. Also, I presesume that by deleted you mean to have a whole category erased (like you have a track whose tag includes "Genre: Blues" you want the modified tag to be totally blank rather than reading "Genre:...").
Before I try to research this any further, what are you wanting to remove?

      Re: tag

      Hi,

In the id tag there is often a comment line. Mostly you get there a name of a site or the maker/converter of the song. It seems to me like a pr function. When i select that line and then select delete selected, it is gone, but with a new opening of the id tag it is back. My solution is: convert the song without preserving id tag, it works because that comment is gone, and the rest also.
This is my little problem, do you have any suggestions?

        Re: tag

There appear to be two separate tag editing functions in dMC/dAP. The first is the file editor within MMC (My Music Collection). Using this file editor, I found that I could add tag information but not remove it (assuming MMC is unlocked).
The other tag editing function is accessed by going to the music file right clicking and selecting "Edit Tag". With this tag editor you should be able to remove comments and have them stay removed. I believe that this second tag editor requres the Power Pack.
