How do I rip with ID3 tags?

I only get the option to add 'APE' tags to the mp3s when ripping from CD, how do I get dbpowerAMP to add ID3 V2 tags instead? My Mp3 player cant recognise APE tags.

The Tag options are available be selecting the dMC Configuration shortcut.

BTW Which version of dMC are you using?

All i get in the selecton box is 'smart v1 and v2' 'both v1 and v2' 'APE V2' 'Never create v1' 'never create v2'

Is one of these ID3?

I am using version 10.1 of dMC

v1 is id3v1 and v2 is id3v2
