    voc to wav conversion

I have recently converted a voc to a wav format but the voc file plays very slow, about half speed. I have tried several options but at wits end. Any help would greatly be appreciated. Thanks

A little search has revealed that .voc is an extension used for Creative Labs Sound Blaster sound and it is a synthetized sound. Perhaps it's a midi type of file.

What kind of player do you curently use to play the .voc file? And what plays too slowly: the VOC or the WAV?

      Re: voc to wav conversion

After I convert the voc to the wav file, the wav file sounds like Darth Vader, very slow and drawn out. I play the wav file through Windows Media Player. I recently used Goldwave and it converted it perfectly so I assume (I hate using that word) it's in the conversion process of (dMC). The wav file created from Goldwave from the voc file sounds great when played through Windows Media Player.
