    Blue Screen of Death

Hi. Everytime a try to convert a bunch of .wav files to .mp3 I get the blue screen of death with a stop error and then my computer automatically restarts. Any idea why this might happen? Or could somebody point me in right direction here. Greatly appreciated.

Last time I had such a problem it was a busted hard disk. You could try to find some diagnostic program to check your disk. I used one from the manufacturer.

Or you might be having a virus or a trojan lurking. There's one that does this.
Use an up-to-date antivirus and do a complete scan. Depending on what it finds it may get rid of it or not. Try to find out first what it is.

Computer overheating is my guess too.

But if you'd like to scan for viruses, there's a good one at TrendMicro.. http://housecall.trendmicro.com/

If it finds something, they have a neat little free offline scanner to remove such things.
