No sound when encoding to MP3

When i use the auxiliary input for dMC and record directly to MP3, the file has no sound. I can record directly to WAV and there is sound however when i try to encode that file to MP3 the resultant file has no sound. Other MP3s on my computer do work there's just something wrong with the encoding. I tried to replace the LAME DLL file and it did not work. I've tried to uninstall and reinstall the DMC files but it still did not work. can anyone help me out?

What mp3 encoding options are you using?

Also what player are you trying to use, could be a player malfunction.
