    Windows media .m3u files

    Hi,

when I export a playlist in .m3u format from windows media player 9 - it inserts a blank line between each song and dmc complains there is not code for "."

I want wmp9 as it has all my ratings etc and I use it to create random playlists for me dmg, (bought from mr spoon himself, and its great).

Its ok if i run it through winamp - open and save - but this is a pain.

Is this a known feature of dmc/wmp9

    Thanks

    Neil

First I have heard of it, trust Microsoft to break a standard. I will note it down as a bug (playlists will be looked at in awhile).

      Thanks for that.

Just to confirm the format wmp9 produces is:

actually I've just realised I can do a

        grep '^\\' playlist.m3u > new.m3u

        to just get a list

        This is pretty easy.
