How to convert various DeliPlayer-Formats like the Hippel coso or similar?

I have got 2719 good old game audio files from Amiga or Atari ST and other old systems. I usually play them via the deliplayer2 ( http://www.deliplayer.com/ ) but now i want to convert them into mp3 format (fantastic oldscool computer gamer music for LAN parties).

The DeliPlayer2 provides all player codecs as dll´s but maybe on an internal format. I am no coder, so i cannot proof that.

I tried to copy the dll´s to the C:\Programme\dBpowerAMP\Multiplayer\Input\ directory, but dBpowerAMP still refused to convert the files "wrong or unknown format".

I use dBpowerAMP with LAME 3.96 dll under WinXP.

I don´t want to use the internal "module to wav" - converter from deliplayer2 because the quality (yes, i know these are mods, but i like them unfiltered!) is like hearing the mod thru a wet sponge ;-)
I also dont want to spend the rest of my life recording realtime and converting then...

I read some forums depending the popular mod-formats like .mod .xm and i also installed the mod codecs from the "codec central" here.

Maybe there is a solution to convert my beloved mods in good quality with dBpowerAMP, maybe with the dll´s from deliplayer2

It is a tough clue, i know, and i am not angry if theres no solution possible but maybe theres another oldscool audiophile like me somewhere reading this.

If you register Deliplayer 2 you should be able to save the files as wav, mp3 or ape.

Re: How to convert various DeliPlayer-Formats like the Hippel coso or similar?

I registered, but theres no change to the deliplayer1-version: The wet sponge is still in my ears after converting, even after converting it lossless to wav.

It sounds VERY different hearing the same song as module or as wave in the same (deli-) player.

Try it out with the freeware-version: theres mono output only, but the quality is lost at all.

To be more detailed: it is no sponge at all, it is a can you hear it thru.
I converted a module to a 96kHz 32bit Stereo WAV. It sounded like played with two cans on my ears. I think i should talk with the developers from deliplayer, maybe theres help.

But i thank you for your answer. I will also post if i got the solution for this.

      Bye
