    Error message!pls help!

    hi,
    Trying to convert Wma to Wav or Mp3, It will prompt me these message

    ''wma' is encrypted which dMC is not able to decode.''

    Wat does this mean? hw to solve this problem?

    Please help! i am running on Window XP.

    Appreciate anybody can sent me email or reply thru tis thread. Thnks

    WMA and some other formats offer a copy protection feature to discourage copying. This takes the form of encryption which is designed so that the protected track can ONLY be played on your computer. WMA in (some, many, all - I am not sure) of its versions has the encryption feature as a default setting for any tracks you rip using WMA. If this is the case, you can turn it off. Your other option is to either rip the enctypted track to a disc using Windows Media Player and then copying it from your disc to your hard drive (which you may or may not be able to do), or to play your track (again using Windows Media Player) feeding the output back to the input of your sound card and recording that way.
    With only a little hunting, you should be able to find many other threads on this issue if you need more help.
