    well, hum ,why ,when i convert a "mpc" file to "mp3 lame 320 kps", i note a difference between them in their sound volume ???
    i mean that mpc volume is naturally bigger than mp3 converted file ! why ?

      Should be, try taking a wave file off CD - convert to mpc, also convert wave to mp3 - play both mpc and wave and they should shound the same volume (your mpcs might not have been encoded with the --xlevel switch that stops the clipping).
