    CODEC Compression error

Hey, Great program guys. It has been working awesome for quite some time, except this morning it suddenly decided to start giving me this error when I'm trying to convert my CD tracks to MP3. (192kps bitrate, and I've determined that the CDs are not the problem cause it is giving me the same error for a CD I already copied fine last night.)

The CODEC required to compress 'C:\Documents and Settings\...\Just Ripped\Bruce Springsteen [Born in the USA] - 01 - Born in the U.S.A.mp3' could not be opened.

I've tried totally uninstalling and reinstalling the program twice and rebooted my computer too. I'm using Windows XP and a pretty fast machine.

Have you tried doing a test rip and was it successful? Are you using the latest version of dMC?

Just tried a Test conversion and it seemed to work just fine. It finished and everything. I'm pretty sure I have the new version now because I just downloaded and reinstalled the program a few times.

I've also just discovered that I can convert to Wave files fine, its just MP3 that is causing the error.

Same problem here. Worked like a charm until today.

Change the mp3 settings, not all work together (try 128Kbps CBR stereo, 44.1KHz).
