Can mp3 files be edited and if so how? Do I need to download a special codec, etc? Thanks!

What exactly do you want to edit? There are tools to extract segments of mp3's. Such as MP3DirectCut or MannsMP3Edit.

Hi,

Every kind of convertion , also MP3.
It is not a matter of another codec but a (big) program. I use cooledit pro 2.0, i think the best.Nero burning rom has also a editing program.
Just try one.
