convert wma to mp3 not possible

while i am trying to convert wma to mp3 i am gettig follwing error:-
The file 'C:\HITEN\music\Khakee\aisa jadoo.wma' is encrypted which dMC is not able to decode.
pls help me

Is the file you're trying to convert one a legal "paid for" download from somewhere like mycokemusic.com?

If so, the file's copy-protected by DRM, which dbpoweramp can't handle.

There are two ways you can convert it to an MP3...

[1] Use Windows Media Player to burn the file to a CD (handy if you have a CDRW disc to do this then you can wipe the CD when you're finished) and then rip the MP3 from that.

[2] If you're MP3 player can record and has a line in socket, you can run a lead from the Line Out Socket from the PC to the Line In socket on the MP3 player and record it onto the player the old fashioned way

Either way's a bit of a faff, files obtained illegally don't give the user this kind of grief (so I've been told *ahem*)
